QuickShip Logistics User Agreement

Website Terms Of Use

This website (the "Platform") is operated by QuickShip Logistics Ltd ("we", "us", or "QuickShip"), a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is in Northwest England. You may contact us at support@quickshiplogistics.co.uk.

These Terms & Conditions are divided into two parts: Part A (General Conditions), which applies to all visitors, and Part B (Member Conditions), which applies to registered Members. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by Part A at minimum. If you choose to register as a Member, you additionally agree to Part B.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the Platform accessible around the clock. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and accept no liability for periods of downtime, whether planned or otherwise. Scheduled maintenance, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control may result in temporary unavailability without prior notice.

3. Content Standards

All content published on the Platform is provided for general informational purposes. Whilst we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties regarding the completeness or currency of any information displayed. We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without notice.

You must not post or transmit any content via the Platform that:

  • is defamatory, threatening, abusive, offensive, obscene, or discriminatory in any form;

  • infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party;

  • encourages or facilitates any unlawful act or criminal conduct;

  • introduces malicious code, viruses, or any technically harmful material;

  • has not received all necessary licences, permissions, or approvals required for its publication.

We will co-operate fully with law enforcement authorities or court orders requiring us to identify or locate any user responsible for prohibited content.

4. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of QuickShip Logistics Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You are permitted to view, print, and save extracts from the Platform strictly for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided that:

  • no content is modified or reproduced out of context;

  • graphics are not separated from their associated text;

  • all copyright and permission notices are preserved in any copies made.

Any other use of Platform content — including reproduction on another website or within a public or private retrieval system — requires our prior written consent. Breach of this clause automatically revokes your permission to use the Platform, and you must promptly delete any downloaded or printed materials.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuickShip Logistics Ltd excludes all liability for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Platform. This includes but is not limited to:

  • loss of income, revenue, or anticipated profits;

  • loss of business opportunities or contracts;

  • loss or corruption of data;

  • loss of goodwill or reputational harm;

  • wasted time, indirect, or consequential losses of any kind.

Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter that cannot be excluded or restricted by law.

6. Privacy

Any personal information collected through your use of the Platform is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at quickshiplogistics.co.uk/privacy. By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described therein.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion and without prior notice, including where:

  • we are required to do so by law or regulatory obligation;

  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent us from providing access;

  • we reasonably believe you have violated these Conditions or are otherwise misusing the Platform.

8. Third-Party Links

Links to external websites are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content or availability of any linked sites. You access them entirely at your own risk.

If you wish to link to this Platform from your own website, you may do so on the condition that you:

  • link only to the homepage and do not replicate its content;

  • do not alter or obscure any QuickShip branding or logos;

  • do not frame the Platform or create the impression that it forms part of your website;

  • do not suggest endorsement or affiliation where none exists;

  • only link from a website you own, which complies with all applicable laws.

We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission at any time. You agree to indemnify us against any loss or damage arising from a breach of this clause.

9. Brand & Domain Protection

You must not register any domain name that incorporates the word "QuickShip" or any variant that could reasonably be associated with our brand or that casts our reputation in a negative light.

10. General Legal Provisions

These Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in connection with any dispute arising from your use of the Platform.

If any provision of these Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. A failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of our rights. These Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior arrangements.

These Conditions do not confer any rights on third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

PART B — MEMBER CONDITIONS

The following conditions apply in addition to Part A and govern your conduct as a registered Member of the Platform.

11. Registration & Account Security

Registration is open to individuals and business entities capable of forming legally binding contracts under English law. You must be at least 18 years of age to register. If you are registering on behalf of a business, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity.

Each account is for the sole use of the registered individual or entity. You must not share your login credentials or transfer your Membership to any third party. You are solely responsible for all activity that takes place under your account and must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

12. Nature of the Platform — Neutral Venue

QuickShip Logistics Ltd is not itself a transport operator, freight broker, or logistics intermediary. The Platform functions as a neutral online venue connecting Users who need deliveries or transport services with Transport Providers who can fulfil those needs.

We play no part in the negotiation, formation, or execution of any Transaction between Members. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of any Job or service provided through the Platform. It is the User's responsibility to select a suitable Transport Provider, and the responsibility of both parties to agree on the terms of their Transaction.

Transport Providers agree that the Platform is strictly for the offering of shipping and transportation-related services and may not be used to market unrelated goods or services without our prior written consent.

13. Prohibited & Restricted Shipments

Certain items are prohibited from being listed as Jobs on the Platform. You must not request or accept the transportation of:

  • goods classified as hazardous, dangerous, or regulated under applicable transport law, unless appropriately packaged, labelled, and disclosed in the Job listing;

  • items whose shipment would violate Royal Mail prohibitions (excluding live animals, which are covered separately);

  • any goods whose transport would be unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction.

Where hazardous goods may lawfully be transported, the Job listing must clearly identify the nature of the material and the proposed compliant method of shipment. If you are uncertain about the legality of a shipment, contact us before listing. Full legal responsibility for compliance rests with the parties to the Transaction. Violations may result in serious regulatory or criminal consequences.

14. Platform Fees

Registration and the submission of quotes are free of charge. QuickShip Logistics Ltd charges a success fee (the "Fee") to Transport Providers who secure a Job. A Job is considered secured once the User accepts the quote and pays the associated deposit.

The Fee is calculated as a tiered percentage of the Transport Provider's accepted quote price and is dynamically shown at the time of quoting. Transport Providers can view applicable fees in their account dashboard before submitting any quote.

As a User, upon accepting a quote, you will pay a deposit equal to the Fee amount into an account held on the Platform. These funds are immediately transferred to the Transport Provider's account, from which the Fee is then debited by us.

The Fee is payable irrespective of whether the Job is ultimately completed. We reserve the right to waive the Fee as a goodwill gesture at our sole discretion. We may also revise the Fee structure or offer promotional rates, with any changes communicated on the Platform.

Transport Providers are responsible for all VAT obligations associated with their quoted services. Quoted prices must be inclusive of VAT; you may not add VAT on top of an accepted quote.

15. Cancellations & Refunds

If a Transport Provider cancels after a quote has been accepted but before commencing the Job, the User may submit a Cancellation Request. Requests must be filed within 28 days of the date of quote acceptance.

If the Cancellation Request is approved, the User may choose to receive either:

  • a Credit applied to their QuickShip account, valid for 2 years from the date of the request and usable for future deposit payments on the Platform; or

  • a direct Refund to the original payment source, processed within 5 working days of approval.

Credits are non-withdrawable and non-refundable. They expire after 2 years and cannot be transferred.

Before submitting a Cancellation Request, both parties are expected to have made reasonable attempts to resolve the matter directly. A Cancellation Request may not be filed until at least 7 days after the date of quote acceptance.

Once filed, the other party is notified and has 72 hours to either accept or dispute the request. If they accept, the quote is voided and the Job may be relisted. If they dispute, the matter is escalated to QuickShip for review. Our decision is final. If no response is received within 72 hours, the Cancellation Request is automatically approved.

Abuse of the cancellation process — including submitting false or exaggerated claims, or coordinating with other Members to manipulate the process — will result in automatic denial of the request and may lead to account suspension or termination.

16. Member Feedback

The Platform includes a feedback system allowing Users and Transport Providers to rate one another following a Transaction. Feedback scores are: +1 (positive), 0 (neutral), or -1 (negative). A Member's overall score reflects the average of all ratings received.

By participating in the Platform, you acknowledge that other Members may leave feedback about your conduct and performance. You agree to:

  • not attempt to manipulate or improperly influence the feedback of any other Member;

  • not post feedback on your own account by any means;

  • not use feedback received on this Platform on any other website or platform;

  • exercise good judgment and courtesy when submitting feedback, as unwarranted or defamatory comments may expose you to legal liability.

We do not investigate feedback for accuracy and accept no responsibility for content left by Members. Use of abusive language or misuse of the feedback system may result in account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities.

17. Flagging & Reporting

The Platform operates a community flagging system to help maintain compliance with these Conditions. Members and visitors may flag content — including Job listings, quotes, messages, and Member profiles — that they believe breaches these Conditions. Flagged content is reviewed by our team and either cleared (green flag) or removed (red flag). Members who accumulate more than one red flag may have their Membership suspended.

18. Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all information you provide on the Platform, whether at Registration or during the course of a Job or Transaction. You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Any non-personal information you submit to the Platform may be used by QuickShip Logistics Ltd for any commercial or non-commercial purpose, including disclosure to third parties, without obligation to you.

All Members are expected to communicate with one another respectfully and in accordance with reasonable standards of professional conduct.

19. No Agency or Partnership

Nothing in these Conditions creates or implies any agency, joint venture, partnership, or employment relationship between QuickShip Logistics Ltd and any Member. Members must not represent themselves as acting on behalf of QuickShip in any capacity.

20. Membership Suspension & Appeals

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Membership at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. We may, at our discretion, notify other Members of actions that led to such a decision.

If your Membership is terminated, you may submit a written appeal requesting reinstatement. Your appeal should include a statement explaining why reinstatement is appropriate, along with your contact details. Reinstatement is entirely at our discretion, and we are not obligated to review every appeal or provide reasons for our decision.

21. Confidentiality

Through your use of the Platform, you may become aware of confidential information relating to QuickShip Logistics Ltd, including our systems, processes, business operations, and commercial strategies. You agree to treat all such information as strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party, including competitors. These obligations continue beyond the termination of your Membership.

22. Non-Solicitation

During the period of your Membership, you agree not to directly solicit or employ any QuickShip staff member of whom you become aware through your use of the Platform, nor to take any action designed to harm our business relationships with other Members.

23. Use of the QuickShip Brand in Advertising

You must not bid on or acquire the keyword "QuickShip" — or any closely related variant — through Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any similar paid search platform without our express written permission.

24. Convictions & Fitness to Trade

By registering as a Member, you warrant that neither you nor any individual associated with you who will be involved in Transactions has been convicted of any criminal offence relating to transport, logistics, haulage, or related activities. You further warrant that there are no ongoing legal proceedings against you that would impair your ability to perform any Transaction or fulfil your obligations under these Conditions.
